Welcome to our homepage

Something happened to our homepage yesterday evening, it crashed I think.....but we're back...

Good evening from Sioux Lookout, we finished the 10th annual Little Bands Native Youth Hockey Tournament last night and what a finish. Sandy Lake won the Midget division with a score of 10-1 over Lac Seul, Kas beat Sachigo 4-1 in the Bantam division, Sandy Lake 2 beat Bearskin 10-0 in the Pee wee division, Lac Seul beat Slate Falls 4-3 in the Atom division and the other games were just as spectacular. I'm sure every one enjoyed the games and event. There were a lot of good final games in each division and of course one of our most popular games, the Novice division, was enjoyed by many. Nice to see future players coming up the ranks. Good crowds came to watch the final games...we would like to thank everyone for supporting our event. Thanks to the players, coaches, parents, fans, communities, etc who made this event successful. A big thanks to the Sioux Arena management, Eagle Lake Band, the volunteers, our 2 sponsors Wasaya and Noront, Wawatay for the broadcasts, the OPP, NAPS, and the Sioux Lkt referees....next year is gonna be a blast I'm sure....this might be our last year at Eagle...we usually give something to all the players that play at our tournament. This year we gave the 400 players a medallion to take home with them and remember the good time they had in Sioux Lookout over this past weekend..Have a good Family Day ya'll...
